Our Pastors
Abe Bergen, an associate member of Crest Manor is our current pastor to Crest Manor. Abe has a Masters of Divinity and is retired from Canadian Mennonite University, though he still continues some work there. He spends time between South Bend and Winnipeg, MB, Canada. Abe is married to Harriet Hamer.
Ruthann Knechel Johansen just stepped down from co-pastoring Crest Manor with Abe. She will continue working with us, though. Ruthann is a member of Crest Manor and spent 15 years as president of Manchester University. Ruthann is married to Bob Johansen and they now reside in Illinois.
We are currently in search of a new pastor.
Office Administrator
Trina Leckrone
As Office Administrator, Trina has helped keep the administrative operation of Crest Manor running smoothly since 2010. When she isn’t working at the church, she enjoys spending time with Dale, her husband of 30 years, and their two adult sons, as well as watching sports, reading mystery stories and doing some writing of her own. She is also active in hew own church, Evangel Heights United Methodist Church, and has served as treasurer of their preschool since 2005.
